Partners
Invite partners by email or accept their applications, publish a join page, and what partners see in the Partner app.
A partner is an outside party, such as an affiliate, a creator, or an agency, that promotes one of your referral Programs with its own RefRef login. A partner joins through an invitation or an application, gets its own referral link, and follows its referrals and Rewards in the Partner app.
A partner is a referrer like any other: its clicks, referrals, and Rewards follow the same rules. The difference is how it joins and where it signs in. Your backend cannot enroll a partner or create its code, because a partner has no ID in your product.
Invite a partner
- Open Partners → All partners and select Invite partner.
- Enter the Partner name (optional), the Email, and the Program, and select Send invitation.
- RefRef emails an invite link. The sheet also shows the link once, so that you can send it yourself if the email does not arrive.
Only a person who signs in with the invited email can accept. Resend sends a new link, and the old link stops working. Revoke cancels the invitation. Invite links do not expire.
Accept applications
- In the Program's Settings, switch on Accept applications.
- Copy the Apply link and share it, or publish a join page.
- Applications appear in Partners → All partners as Applied. Select Approve or Decline.
RefRef does not notify you of new applications, and it does not email the partner about your decision.
What happens when a partner joins
When an invitation is accepted or an application is approved, RefRef:
- Gives the person a partner Workspace, usually their personal Workspace. At the first join, the partner enters its partner name. This one name shows to every business that the partner works with.
- Creates the partner as a participant of your Project, enrolls it in the Program, and creates its referral code.
Joining as a partner never makes the person a member of your Workspace, so it gives no Console access.
Remove partner ends the enrollment. The partner then earns nothing on Events that RefRef evaluates after the removal, also on its earlier referrals. A new invitation or application adds it again with the same code.
The Partner app
A partner signs in to the Partner app and sees:
- The Programs that it joined, with the referrer terms
- Its referral link
- Its referrals
- The Rewards that it earned
It does not see your Workspace name, your customers' names or emails, or your IDs.
RefRef does not pay partners through the Partner app. A partner cannot enter payout details there, so choose Paid by you, recorded by hand for cash Rewards if you pay partners yourself. The Partner app tells partners that you pay them directly.
Join page
A referral Program can have a public join page at https://partners.refref.ai/<address>. It shows your content and the referrer offer in force, and its Apply button opens the apply page of the Program.
Edit it in the Program's Join page tab:
- The address, the hero, and up to 12 blocks of text, questions and answers, or images. An image loads from its URL on your website.
- Draft with AI writes a first draft from your company website. Review every fact before you publish it.
- Save, Publish, and Unpublish.
A change shows on the public page within about a minute. The first Program that publishes an address holds it.
Limits
- RefRef sends partners only the invitation email. Share the apply link yourself.
- A partner cannot rename itself.
- The Partner app has no payout screens and no click counts.
- The Console pages for partner applications, messages, groups, and resources are previews. Use All partners to manage partners.
