What this structure costs on your numbers
Take a plan of $50 a month: $600 in the first 12 months, at a 70% gross margin. Keeping half of the gross profit leaves a reward budget of $210 for each referred customer. These are example figures, not Railway's.
With Railway's structure, the rewards for one referred customer cost $110. For 100 referred customers, if 50% would not have bought anyway, the program returns $10,000 of net contribution (90.9% ROI). It breaks even when 26.2% of referred customers are new because of it.

- Set the rewards: 15% for 12 months for the partner, $20 for the new customer, or your own amounts.
