Amounts vary by country. France uses a two-step reward tied to card spend.

What this structure costs on your numbers
Take a plan of €50 a month: €600 in the first 12 months, at a 70% gross margin. Keeping half of the gross profit leaves a reward budget of €210 for each referred customer. These are example figures, not Qonto's.
With Qonto's structure, the rewards for one referred customer cost €400. For 100 referred customers, if 50% would not have bought anyway, the program costs €19,000 more than it earns. It breaks even when 95.2% of referred customers are new because of it.
