What this structure costs on your numbers
Take a plan of $50 a month: $600 in the first 12 months, at a 70% gross margin. Keeping half of the gross profit leaves a reward budget of $210 for each referred customer. These are example figures, not Tally's.
With Tally's structure, the rewards for one referred customer cost $195. For 100 referred customers, if 50% would not have bought anyway, the program returns $1,500 of net contribution (7.7% ROI). It breaks even when 46.4% of referred customers are new because of it.
Lifetime revenue share
Start from the “Lifetime revenue share” template
Partners earn a percentage of every payment from the customers they send, for as long as those customers pay.
- Create a free RefRef account and add your Project.
- Create a Program from the “Lifetime revenue share” template.
- Set the rewards: 20% for life, up to $150 for the referrer, 50% off for 3 months for the new customer, or your own amounts.
- Install the landing script and send the signup and purchase Events. RefRef connects each customer to their referrer and records the Rewards.
