Shortlist RefRef
Put RefRef on your shortlist if you want customer referrals and loyalty to share the same participant model. Its pricing does not rise just because those customers spend more. That is a useful foundation for teams building referral incentives into a broader product experience.
- Your engineering team owns the integration
- Customer referrals and loyalty share one model
- Active participation is the pricing signal you want

What changes the choice?
Choose who will run delivery and reconciliation before comparing totals. If automation is a requirement, the Basic price is not the relevant Tolt offer. Domain branding is available in both products, so focus on reward rules, program scope, and operating work.

01
Map what exists
Document the portal domain, published referral links, and branding requirements separately.
02
Preserve the obligations
Choose the payout owner for the transition and reconcile commission balances before disabling any automated delivery.
03
Verify the new journey
Test partner access, link attribution, and reward delivery with a small cohort before moving the full affiliate audience.
This is a planning checklist, not a one-click importer. Test your mapping on a small cohort and reconcile old and new records before switching the full program.

Pricing details & sources
The explorer holds one Project, one referral Program, two operators, 100 referrers, $10,000 referred revenue, and $2,000 commissions constant. Only active participants change. No portal, automated payouts, or branded redirect domain is required in the base scenario.
Basic · monthly. $10,000 referred revenue fits Basic with manual payouts. Your payout-rail charges are extra. For auto payouts, Growth plus 2% of $2,000 would be $139/month before commissions and other charges.
Total cost = software + platform payout fees + commissions + payout-rail/FX charges + integration and migration work + monthly operations + tax. The chart excludes commissions and unpriced costs; the subtotal adds commissions. This scenario uses your own payout rail for RefRef. These are not equivalent service packages or guaranteed savings.
RefRef monthly prices: Free $0 through 1,000 active participants; Growth $49 through 5,000 plus $10 per started 1,000; Scale $199 through 20,000 plus $7 per started 1,000. The examples select these plans explicitly; there is no modeled automatic upgrade.
Basic is $69/month up to $10,000 earned from affiliates. Growth is $99 up to $20,000; Pro is $199 up to $50,000. Growth and Pro advertise auto payouts with a 2% processing fee.
Basic already includes a custom domain and branded portal. Removing the powered-by link is listed on Pro. Domain ownership and complete white-labeling are different requirements.
This review did not verify a self-hostable Tolt edition. Ask for a sample export and migration terms rather than assuming hosted software prevents you from moving.
